Hello, I am Ronda Collins, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping individuals find hope and healing during life’s most overwhelming seasons. Life transitions, relationship stress, anxiety, trauma, and family or cultural pressures can leave us feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or uncertain about ourselves and our future. You do not have to navigate these challenges alone.
I provide a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free space where you can feel heard, supported, and understood. Together, we will explore the underlying experiences and core beliefs that may be contributing to current difficulties in your life, whether related to relationships, family dynamics, parenting, work stress, childhood experiences, or major life transitions. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients process difficult experiences, develop healthier coping strategies, and move toward lasting emotional growth.
For more than 13 years, I have served individuals and families in Washington, DC and New York City through psychotherapy, care coordination, and supportive mental health counseling. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem challenges, ADHD, attachment-related concerns, and difficulties navigating major life changes. I especially enjoy supporting college students, recent graduates, and immigrant and first-generation adults as they navigate identity, relationships, cultural expectations, and the pressures of adulthood.
I believe healing begins with self-compassion, self-awareness, and the hope that change is possible. My approach is warm, collaborative, culturally sensitive, and grounded in genuine care for each person’s journey. I look forward to supporting you as you move toward healing, clarity, and a more fulfilling life.
